So, maybe you’ve read a post, or simply stumbled upon my blog. Now you want to know more about the person behind the blog. Well, I realise I’m terrible at introductions. However, what I want you to know is that I like writing. I’ve always liked it, like many other bloggers. It helps me meditate, helps me escape in some ways.

I’m Chiamaka – Amaka is the shortened version. That’s my middle name. I’ll eventually say my full name, but I like being known as Amaka, making something out of this middle name of mine.

I tend to get excited when filled with passion for something, and that leads to me writing really long texts – blog posts, or comments. It’s crazy! I also like encouraging people, complimenting them and pushing them to do better. I’m not perfect, and I have my flaws.

I created this blog as a way to document my growth. I find it awesome when I can go on a blog and see posts from when someone was really young until they got way older. I want to do something like that.

Mind of Amaka was born a few days after my 19th birthday, and simply means look into my mind. My mind holds all sorts of things, stories and ideas. I’d like to pull out these stories and ideas, and share them with the world. I hope you enjoy them.

I would say I’m a lifestyle blogger, and so my posts either fall into creative pieces or posts reflecting on life and all the things in it, including my search for answers to many things.

I don’t have a schedule, but my benchmark is 2-4 posts a month. Of course, I always hope to deliver quality content. I post more during my school break. Posts will usually be on Mondays or weekends, with the occasional mid-week post.

So, how will you begin to enjoy my posts? Start here, by learning 10 things about me!

I’m open to collaborations with brands, other bloggers and websites. I can be contacted here: mindofamaka@gmail.com
